With normal film, it is possible to record a range of 15 stops. Results are similar to and slightly better than those obtained with POTA. In addition, the negatives contain more contrast. A decrease of 0.5 to 1 stop in film speed can be expected. The chemicals in the kit are used to make two stock solutions. They are diluted 5:3:200 to make the working solution, which is used once then discarded. A 1 liter kit yields 40 liters of working solution. The shelf life of solution A is six months, and Solution B has a life of 1 month. Two packages to make Solution B are included in the kit.
