I am very pleased with this liquid kit. I double coat on Bergger COT 320 paper, develop in a 1:1 solution of vinegar:water for 1 minute, rinse for another 4 minutes in gently running water, put in a tray of water with a little bit of hydrogen peroxide for 15 seconds, wash for another five minutes in gently running water, and hang to dry. Make sure your negative has some density and a decent amount of contrast. You will get excellent detail and tonal range from highlights to deep blue shadows. If you are not getting deep blues, it needs more exposure time. Well done PF!

This cyanotype liquid is pretty easy to use and provides for good results. I will say that it claims to produce 24 8x10 prints, but after measuring and making calculations, I'd estimate it is WAY more than that. It claims that 1920 square inches can be used total but my calculations put that number somewhere in the 6500 sq inch range. I guess it depends on how thick you layer the stuff but in my opinion a thin layer will suit most applications.

I've been using Photographer's Formulary Liquid Cyanotype Kit for a few years now. It's quick and easy to mix up and works well. I've been trying using different dilutions to make "double exposure" prints recently and it's working just fine.

I actually bought this for a gift for an artist friend who is planning to do a book of cyanotype prints! But I use this myself and find it of good quality and easy to use. It offers a beautiful range of tones.

This was my first time trying cyanotypes. I purchased the liquid kit and it was very simple to use with easy to understand instructions.
I was able to achieve a nice tonal range, and either very dark blues or medium blues depending on how much of the mixed solution I brushed onto the paper. Looking forward to experimenting more!

Found the product to be quite reliable. Mixes easily. Paper can be coated ahead of time (a day or so), and does not lose the ability to print. I love it.

The chemistry does exactly what it claims and the results are beautiful, but the company needs to hire a professional graphic designer to help redesign the 8 page instruction manual. It is a badly photocopied booklet with margins cut off and important information illegible. Take some pride in your documentation. It's impossible to discern what is important and what is just a footnote in this document and it took a thorough reading several times to figure out what the extra chemicals in the kit were intended to do. Clarity people. Clarity.

The two A & B solutions make it easy to produce beautiful cyanotype prints. This formula is similar to the dry and produces similar tones with a ready to produce out of the box solution.
