Loading... Please wait...Photographers Formulary Economy Contact Print Frames are made at the Formulary from high quality ash, with a felt-lined, hinged back board for print inspection.
Pressure clips hold your negative securely while printing.
All frames are made one inch bigger than the size quoted. (i.e. an 8x10" frame actually has a glass size of 9x11" so that you get a full 8x10" print).

Well built and solid, seems to lock up nicely, no problems making prints with it. Money well spent.

I am enjoying using the 11x15 contact printing frame; it is solidly built and secure in holding negative and medium in contact. However, the back edges of the spring clips protrude from the wooden frame, the corners are sharp, and I have small cuts from encountering those metal parts in getting it into my UV unit. I have found it necessary to cover them with tape to avoid contact. Nevertheless, it is good value for the price compared to the competition.

This product is sturdy, and the components won't break on you. There are only two downsides - 1. it's rather expensive for what it is. 2. the clasps on the back are quite hard to engage and release, and if you are printing a different size image, ensuring they don't move requires some delicacy.

Very well built and worth the money in my opinion.
