Graduated Glass Cylinders

I have plenty of plastic graduated cylinders collected over the years and decided to splurge on a glass cylinder for two reasons. I am mixing alot of dichromate lately and don't want to stain a plastic cylinder, and the price was modest for a nice, easy to read and easy to clean piece of glass lab ware.
The plastic base is removable, meaning I can store the two separately to conserve space in my mobile lab kit. White painted numerals easy to read and there is a sliding plastic marker which is something I find unnecessary, but it can be removed if so desired.
I may upgrade all my graduated cylinders to glass. One which came with my JOBO kit is so milky white as to be very difficult to read without strong backlight illumination. Glass with painted graduation marks is the way to go if you are in this game for the long run.

I have the 25ml, 50ml and 100ml sizes and they are certainly well made. The wide base is stable and reassuring.

Nothing like glass to be certain you've got all the trace elements of your last chemical clear out and can proceed to the next step. Well made, readily marked. Stable on the table top.

I bought a 50mL here, came well packaged, with plastic foot and level recorder ring. About what you'd find in a school lab, much better IMHO than plastic.

I have the 50 ml and the 500 ml. I am very happy with the quality. The numbers are easy read and the pour spout produces a nice small stream.. The base has feet on the bottom witch is important.
